Golden Branches

     
                 While taking photographs at the Brewer waterfront? I noticed how when the color orange was singled out on pictures of the bare trees? Their branches glowed an iridescent gold. Almost as if Rumpelstiltskin himself had woven them together from straw on nature's spinning wheel.  So today I'd like to share that royally colorful experience with all of you as my closeout blog to the first month of 2015. Thus far it's been a pretty amazing year for me! Happy February and springtime yet to come!

Dead End Street In Black And White

                  At least once a month I walk down the Bennett Road, which is only less 500 feet from my front door, to take photographs. Done it throughout the seasons in fact. Somehow today thought? The quality of the clouds,the sky,sun shining on the ground created a striking effect. Since the idea of color seemed distracting in this case? I elected to Ansel Adams it and photograph this area in plain unfiltered black and white. Enjoy the huge dynamics of Bennett Road field in the middle of winter!
