The Blue Heron and the Woodchuck

On two recent day trips, one to Acadia National Park on the Maine coast and the other Little Fitts Pond in nearby Eddington,I had two rare photographic encounters with animals that are normally too fast for my camera to be able to catch. As I am preparing another, more elaborate photographic blog for sometime during this month? I wanted to share these sightings with you!

Rebirth Of Luna At The End Of August

It would seem as if 2014 is going to be the year of the moon for me,especially with my newest camera. This is the first crescent moon I've ever had the privilege to photograph. And it would be wonderful if there is a possibility for me to photography the moon in many different phases. That is,of course if the weather (always particularly uncertain in my neck of the woods) will be accommodating. I am hoping that these photographs make an impact on other likeminded photographers.

Sunflowers On 'Through The Camera's Eye's Anniversary

This is a very special day for this photography blog. It is the first year anniversary of me actually starting it in the first place. As the blog has grown,I've found my photography has along with it. Especially as I went from re-posting photos to taking ones specifically for this blog. This is also the 50th blog that I've done as well. In that spirit of a double anniversary? I decided to begin it the way that extends on the way that I started it a year ago. It was a sunflower that appeared in that first post here. And it is sunflowers I am exploring more thoroughly today.
